Wow! Last night was fantastic! We got to attend the Mercy Ministries Gala, and after seeing the hundreds/thousands of lives changed through the ministry, we knew we needed to partner with the ministry.
Mercy Ministries was Nancy Alcorn’s response to 8 years working in a girls detention center. She wasn’t able to share the message of Christ to girls that needed Him as the answer for their struggles. Mercy has since opened a house in Nashville, Australia, the UK, their working on about 3 or 4 more houses in the States, Peru, Canada, and other places around the world.
Some girls had eating disorders, a history of being abused, addictions, etc. and you should have seen the smiles on their faces. Last night was a gigantic reunion for many of them.
